Lily Pad Leap Game
- For small motor skills ask your children to:
1. Cut out 9 lily pads from paper/light foam. The should approximately be 1 ft x 1 ft, or big enough to stand on.
2. Write the numbers 1-9 on the lily pads (they can also use chalk and masking tape to draw lily pads on the sidewalk)Â
- For Large motor skills let your children:
1. Place the lily pads on the ground, with varying distances between each lily pad.
2. Hop like a frog from lily pad to lily pad.
Freeze Game
Play music while your children hop like frogs from one end of the room to the other. When the music stops, they must freeze. Start music again.
Frog Game
Ask your children to:
1. Curl into a ball like a frog egg
2. Hatch and become tadpoles
3. Move around with two legs like tadpoles
4. Move around with 4 legs and leap like frogs
