Plant Dye

 Children enjoy science activities such as plant pigments. 

You can let your child gather different kind of flowers/leaves. 

- Let them arrange the items on the newspaper or on a board. 

- Ask them to cover the arrangement with white sheet of fabric and let them use a toy hammer to pound the fabric. 

- You can encourage your child to observe as they pound the different areas of the fabric.

- At the end, you can turn their creation into some spring art. Let it dry and make it into little banners!
